Cozumel

We really enjoyed Cozumel. We spent most of the day snorkeling at Chankanaab Lagoon Park, and shopping in the market.

Fishing in Galveston

Jake was able to feed his fishing addiction in Galveston last week. Saltwater fishing is always exciting even though we mostly caught catfish.

We took a 4 hour bay fishing trip aboard the Cavalier.

Jake's biggest catch was this gafftop catfish.There were several sharks and redfish caught on the boat.
We also fished along the beachfront from the rock jettys. More catfish!
We even fished off the beach at night.

Galveston June 09

We had a great time on our trip to the coast last week. We spent 2 days in Galveston, and 2 days in Kemah. It was very hot in Kemah, but not so bad in Galveston with a good breeze off the gulf. Carol, Jake and Jon in Kemah.

Cardinals Swim Party

We had our end of season swim party at Brent and Ginger Stephens' pool. The boys played and swam non stop for about 3 hours. What a great time!

Cardinals TBall 2009

Jake's Tball team took 3rd place in the city tournament on June 6. Jake played 1st base and pitcher this season. All the Cardinals learned a lot about baseball this season and played great in the tournament. We are very proud of them.

Jon Brett Bostian is here!

This is our first post in quite a while. I guess we've been too busy and we have neglected the blog, but now here's a good reason to post some new pics. Jon Brett arrived at 4:04pm on Jan 13. He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20 inches long. He was about 3 weeks early but he is doing fine. Carol had a C section and is sore but also doing fine. Jake is very excited about Jon and loves him very much. He wants to hold him all the time and is a big help with him already. Here are some pics from the hospital.
